Established in 2017, WRK.PLC. offers a unique and innovative approach to the training and upbringing of young dancers. Our exclusive studio believes in personalized attention and the development of a strong technical foundation for each student in every style. We achieve rapid growth with our fun, safe, and positive training environment for competitive and recreational dancers ages 3-18 years old.
Dance styles offered include: jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, pointe, tap, acro, tumbling, musical theater, lyrical and leaps and turns. Our training produces well rounded dancers with the ability and tools to perform in front of the camera and on stage.
The mission of WRK. PLC. is to instill a great love of creativity, music, community, and WRK. ethic into each dancer. While encouraging their individual self expression and confidence to carry with them long past their days spent growing and learning in our studio.
Jessi is fiercely passionate about teaching dancers to appreciate creativity, diversity, music and technique. As a result, she founded the WRK. PLC. for dancers in 2017. Jessi has easily established herself as the most experienced female professional dancer in the region and is the most highly requested young choreographer in Nashville. Movies/television and live shows include Anchor Man 2, Love Simon, Million Dollar Arm, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Christina Aguilera, Jake Owen, The Super Bowl, Sports Illustrated, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, The Detour, Titans Cheerleading Captain, Soloist for Odyssey Dance Theatre and Top 8 finalist in Season 3 of Fox’s “SYTYCD") She's privileged to share her passion and experience with like-minded, young artists.
When Jessi isn't dancing, you can find her listening to podcasts, painting, cooking or playing and enjoying time with her daughter, Lenox and husband Lucas.

Born and raised in Hendersonville, TN, Lauren graduated from the American Academy of Dance and has trained under WRK. PLC. owner, Jessi Peralta Thompson for the past 8 years. Since performing with members of the Jackson 5 at the Black Music Honors and booking her first music video, she aspires to one day tackle a national tour then harness her experiences and passion for teaching into owning her very own dance studio!
Lauren teaches tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, leaps & turns and technique classes.
When not teaching, you can find her exploring new choreography in the studio. WRK. PLC. has become her second home and she feels grateful to be part of each and every dancer's journey.

Madolyn is a nationally recognized, professional dancer and choreographer from Nashville, TN. Some of her proudest achievements are booking her first CMA awards show and music video, winning multiple National Championships with her dance family, dancing for the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga, and becoming a coach/mentor. She teaches contemporary, jazz and hip-hop and promotes individualism, hard work and dreaming big.
Along with dance, Madolyn enjoys traveling and spending time with her fiancé and pups.

Abby is originally from Sevierville, TN and has been dancing for 17 years. She studied at the Elizabeth Williams School of Dance for 14 years and under Joe Tremaine for 7 years. Being a dancer with the Tremaine Performance Company and competing on So You Think You Can Dance are two achievements and experiences that inspire her to teach. While her personal favorite is Classical Jazz, Abby also enjoys teaching Ballet, Pointe, Technique, Technical Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, and Lyrical.
When she's not dancing, you will find Abby still on the move. Whether it's taking a walk or cleaning her home, she enjoys staying busy and active.
"I teach because I feel so inspired by the kids. As they are learning from me, I am also learning and growing from them."
Jamie is from Huntington Beach, CA and has been dancing for over 20 years. Her greatest inspiration is music and her favorite style of dance is Neoclassical Ballet. After she won the Youth Grand Prix Award, she was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Ballet Upper School (London, England). She then became a member of the American Ballet Theatre (NYC) and, at age 17, danced on the Metropolitan Opera House stage and theaters around the world. Jamie teaches Ballet, Pointe, Floor Barre and Body Conditioning.
When she isn't dancing you can find Jamie cuddling with her Australian Shepherd, Luna.

Taylor is originally from Cocoa Beach, FL and has been dancing all her life. Some of her greatest achievements include being a Showbiz Choreography Award winner, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and a graduate of the Institute for American Musical Theatre. Taylor teaches Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Jazz and is inspired by the makes of Gwen Verdon, Martha Graham, Chita Rivera and Peter Chu.
When Taylor's not dancing you can find her doing something related to art, fitness or fashion.
